Over the years, we've committed to empowering and educating women who may feel isolated with their concerns. We hope our efforts have brought clarity to many.

PELVIC FLOOR TRAINING IN POSTNATAL RECOVERY (IN ENGLISH)

Drawing from our extensive experience in pre- and postnatal fitness, we have developed our own FitnessWerkstatt Rückbildungs-Concept. Our 6-weeks program is tailored specifically for mothers who maintained a regular exercise routine during pregnancy.

In addition to typical "Rückbildung" course, our program includes the following special features:

  • Milestones - We asses your individual status quo and identify your next steps in recovery and development.
  • Linked to Fitness Training - Because we know your milestones, transition into Fit-Mom Training is personalized and at optimal time.
  • Lift, Carry, Hold - Techniques for maintaining a healthy posture and managing your everyday mamma routine.
  • Breathing Techniques - Learn breathing techniques that engage core muscles, diaphragm and pelvic floor - a foundation for all physical activities and valid for a lifetime.
  • Relaxation - Th correct relaxation of pelvic floor is as important as its activation. We also learn of all other mom-specific tensions (breastfeeding, carrying, twisted sleeping positions, etc).
  • Back to Jogging - Back to your running routine in small steps.
  • Community, Network, News - Benefit from our diverse network of patners, constantly updated knowledge and the exchanges with other moms.

Course Details:
  • 6 sessions x 75 Minute (Total 7.5 hours) at our studio.
  • 155 EUR * incl. access to home workout videos and 1 session of indoor or outdoor Fit-Moms workouts.
  • After completing the course, you'll receive a participation certificate. Your health insurance company may subsidize this course. Payment is initially self-funded.

TRAINING DURING & AFTER THE PREGNANCY


In our Fit-Pregnant & Fit-Mom Training course, you can exercise from the start of your pregnancy until your due date, then resume as early as six weeks after giving birth when you're given an "ok" from your midwife or gynecologist to start physical activity.

What we offer: A challenging yet tailored workout led by professional English speaking trainers. We ensure the exercises match your level and explain the physical changes you're experiencing during pregnancy and after giving birth. Our sessions include enjoyable cardio routines, full-body workouts, and a special focus on strengthening your core and pelvic floor muscles. 

Where to find us:
For outdoor courses you can locate us in Holzhausenpark at the upper section towards Holzhausenstrasse. In Grüneburgpark, we meet at the Mahnmal Palais Grüneburg shortly off August-Siebert-Straße, and at Oppenheimer Platz, we meet at the playground within the mini-park. For indoor course we are at our home base at FitnessWerkstatt in Nordend (Mercatorstrasse 46, 60316).

What to bring: For outdoor sessions, please bring your own yoga mat and various fitness bands. We will supply all equipment for indoor sessions. Don't forget to bring along something to drink and pack an exra large dose of motivation and excitment!!

VIDEO ON DEMAND


We offer Video-On-Demand for those based outside of Frankfurt. The video series includes exercises suitable for the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy.

The videos are currently only available in German.
